KOSS Local committee had conducted an interschool painting competition in memory of late Pandit Jawarlal Nehru on 13th November 2012. In continuation of the same there will be an Essay competition will be conducted on 25th of this month. Prizes will be distributed on the day of KOSS Global meet, Jan 20th 2013.
Special thanks to the KOSS local committee. We highly appreciate everyone's support to have the competition a grand success.

Rimin Johnson Keeppallil, born in Kerala, India was fascinated by all the books she has ever read. She started writing at the age of 12. Her first novel named The Space Kids published in 2008.
Now at age of 15, she is a student in 10th grade in International Indian School, Dammam, Saudi Arabia. She continues to write and this time her second book Mechanical Danger is being chosen by the UK based group AuthorHouse[1] to publish. This book is now available in Amazon.com at a very nominal cost.
In 2011 she received a merit award from His Holiness Baselios Pulose-II, Catholicose and Malankara Metroploitan of Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church at Devalokam.
On the occasion of Catholicate Centenary Celebrations, as an active member of MGOSM she received Pratibha Award from the same authority for her exceptional talent and contributions.
She lives with her parents and sister in Saudi Arabia. Please let me quote from the title of the widely praised Sc-Fi book ‘Mechanical Danger’, authored by this whiz-kid, “The human world has brought a lot of changes to help our daily lives. Machines, automobiles and lately humanoids and androids. But are they supposed to make our lives better? Or are good housekeeping, under-human-control robots still a myth?” The book follows the story of Madeline Hinson who was a typical teen until one incident changed her life forever.

Earlier Mr. Johnson Keepplil, Rimin’s father said that he felt proud about her book being published by the UK group. It was not for earning money but encouraging the child and also other similar talented kids to showcase and share their creativity on a larger worldwide platform.

1. WINGS Venue: St. Thomas L.P. School, Kudassanad (19th January 2013)
2. Global Meet Venue: St. Stephen's Parish Hall, Kudassanad (20th January 2013)
3. For WINGS, so far 32 students got registered. The last date of enrollment is 30th November 2012. We expect a total of 40 students. Anyway, though our target was 60, 32 is a good number to proceed with.
4. Dr. K.C. Raju Kottoor, Ex Principal of St.Gregorios College, Kottarakkara, a veteran in the educational scenario in Kerala has taken charge as the Deputy Director of WINGS.
5. Students folders along with instructions, assignments, counseling schedule and other documents are ready for distribution. But this will be done only in December 2012.
6. Three students counselors Mr. Mathews Kuruvila, Mrs. Reena Mathews and Mr. Alex P. George will counsel our students and their parents as per the counseling schedule on Saturdays starting from 26th January 2013.
The counseling schedule is spread on every consecutive Saturday over a month.
7. Assignments of students for every month from February till July 2013 (until the next WINGS meet in August 2013) are ready for classes VIII to XII participants.
8. Identification badges duly authorised by the deputy director of WINGS is getting ready. This will be distributed to the students and accompanying parents only in the month of December 2012.
9. Food arrangements for participants are done (Breakfast, Lunch and 4 pm snacks)
10. Arrangements for Global Meet are being done. This will be intimated to all through the next bulletin
