Sri Somarajan (Achary), Ganesh Bhavan, Pulikunnil Kudassanad died in an accident that occurred on Friday at Mamood jn near Nooranad.
He was on his way to a house for “sthanm kanan” for a proposed new house construction.
A passing car lost control and collided with in his scooter by which he was travelling. The car also hit four other people and they are also in serious condition.
It was a busy day for Mr Somarajan in connection with “Pathamudayam”, as per the traditions an auspicious day to start constructing new houses. He was a chief person on such occasions to perform the rituals. Burial was held on 24th April 2010 at 4 pm. He left wife Mani and two small children, Ganesh and Ganga.
